So
what is the purpose of NoMoreMoney.com?
"I ask not for
divine providence or more riches, but more wisdom with which to accept and use wisely the riches I received at birth:
the power to control and direct my mind to whatever ends I desire."-
Napoleon Hill
(and adopted as my own personal affirmation)
So,
What prompted me? First,
negativity and scarcity entered my life, and I was looking for good things
to put in my head so I could endure the trial with a good attitude.
Lo-and behold, that is what I got: "enduring the trial with a good
attitude" - but never reaching the end to what I was enduring until I
began to do a "Check up from the neck up" (self examination of
my thoughts). So the first purpose is to share a tiny bit of what I
valued, plus some other content I found useful from other authors.
Little
by little I began to recognize how my daily thoughts affected what came
into my life. I began doing some basic research, and remembered I
had previously read "As a Man Thinketh" by James Allen. So
I surfed the internet and found it. (see bottom of this page) His writing style required me to pay attention so
I could understand him. After reading this small book about 10
times, I started looking for more information of similar importance, and
in discussing my thoughts and pursuit with a neighbor, they lent me a book
titled "The Secret" by Rhonda Byrne.
Now,
up to this point in my life, I had gone through several Self Help courses,
such as Impact Training, Harmony Institute and a Coaching course offered
by Robert Allen and Tony Robbins' Fire-walk. Many of these self-help
organizations are extremely valuable in content, but carry with them a
cult like following, replete with buzz-word repeating fanatics hyped up on
good feelings and loads of caffeine. So, when my neighbor spoke of
The Secret, the first 15 times, I just avoided the topic because it
sounded like the buzz-word repeating loonies I had both tolerated and
admired. Finally, during this time I agreed, and I watched the
video. Then in speaking with my neighbor, his wife offered to lend
me the book, which very closely resembled the content of the video, but
had a little more. I highly recommend to pickup a copy at your local
bookstore. The "Law of Attraction" seems to me a more
refined idea and easier to understand concepts that may or may nor have
originated from "As a Man Thinketh." Other in depth
research finds conflicts about it's origin, and many faiths have its
precepts as doctrine, but very few can explain it the way the author and
professional directors did in the video 'The Secret.'
My
most profound discoveries, insights and wisdom were gained through reading
scriptures and other good works. Of worthy mention is "The
Master Key System" by Charles Haanel. He takes a scientific
examination of truth and divine principles. This booklet was the
primary source of inspiration behind Rhonda Byrnes book "The
Secret." The Master Key System stands on its own as a proven
source of truth and inspiration.
The
second purpose for this site might make you chuckle . . . it was to teach
myself how to modify my thinking towards positive, uplifting and
productive things.
No, I understand this site isn't very cool, it doesn't have flash
animation, professionally designed graphics and does not contain a
database . . . yet. To me it is beautiful because I accomplished
learning some skills I had avoided before, and the majority of it was
designed during the scarcity and negativity I mentioned at the
beginning.
I had the thought, the thought became emotion, the
emotion became intent, and intent manifested several people who magically
appeared to usher me into the abundance I now enjoy.
Thank
you! May the blessings of abundance and intent bring to you all you
want and need.

fervent prayer and its heaven-sent response.
